Taste Love

Dan Steward

How does it feel to hold love on the tip of your tongue?
What is seen is sometimes less real to us than fantasy.
The forest (or was it you) quivered from the midnight mist.
To kiss your heart and free it's magic to pour into ourselves.

What is it like to dream perfection and cradle it in your hand?
To feel the fine shape of you, romance your very tender essence.
Fill your locket of memories as you hold it close to your heart.
Thoughts of together, linked ever in time, dreaming each moment.

Who could hold your most secret keys and make you feel so alive?
The sweet mystery of us bound as one, one newfound yet so known.
Always knowing each other's souls although this flame burns new.
Memories of an incredible romance we now learn how to taste love.
