Didrex

Possible uses of Didrex
Didrex is an appetite suppressant used along with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy for the short-term management of obesity.

How to take Didrex
Take Didrex on an empty stomach, once daily, 30-60 minutes before breakfast. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed because Didrex can be habit forming. Also, if used for a longer period of time, do not suddenly stop Didrex without first consulting your doctor. This medication is usually taken for 8 to 12 weeks.

Side Effects
Possible side effects of Didrex include restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. If they continue or are bothersome, consult your doctor.

Precautions
You must not exceed the recommended dose or take Didrex for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor. Exceeding the recommended dose or taking this medicine for longer than prescribed may cause serious side effects. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Didrex. Before any medical or dental treatments, emergency care, or surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using Didrex. Do not take Didrex if you are pregnant. Didrex is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast feed while taking Didrex.

Drug Interactions
Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects or prevent a medicine from doing its job. Check with your doctor to find out if your medicines interact with each other.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.

Storage
Store Didrex at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep Didrex and all medications out of the reach of children.

Notes
Appetite suppressants are not a substitute for proper diet. For maximum effects, Didrex must be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program. Do not share Didrex with others.
