Acne Symptoms


The severity of symptoms varies from individual to individual.

1. Small bumps that bulge under the skin and have no opening are known as whiteheads.

2. Dark spots with open pores at the centre are blackheads.

3. Persistent, recurrent red spots or swellings on the skin, that may become inflamed or pus-filled. These red swellings or lumps, filled with pus, are pustules.

4. Lumps under the skin which are inflamed and fluid-filled, are nodules, or cysts.
